Management skills training
This management skills training workshop
is entitled:
"Performance Management:
beyond goal setting."
Here's what one participant said:
I'm delighted with
these workshops. I've been taught coaching models before in a number of
leadership and management courses. This is the first time I've felt
able to put what I've learned into practice - confidently, and almost
immediately. It's already made a difference to how I interact with my
team.

Management skills training takes many forms. In this
workshop, we will provide an opportunity for participants to explore
the use of coaching skills in management and leadership contexts.
Michael Heppell says: “I have yet to meet a person who has achieved a
major vision
through using SMART goals.”
Do your team members rely on you to provide direction? Think they
should use more initiative, be more independent, more creative –
challenging, even?
If you are looking for management skills that encourage self-belief and
initiative, you’re in the right place.
Traditional management styles can become ponderous and slow – not what
a rapidly changing workplace needs. Top-down expectations manage to
survive even radical attempts at culture change and ‘no-blame’ dictums.
Most people exercise only a fraction of the initiative and verve they
could in the workplace.
However, an expanding, changing and developing workplace/enterprise
requires that your people use more initiative and
take more responsibility, not less.
How?
This hands-on workshop will enable you to begin to explore and practice
how you lead, challenge and encourage a durable shift in responsibility.

leading and developing people, teams and organisations. Once learned,
it adapts well to different management contexts.

organisations. Most important: We love what we do!
We have an impressive team of coaches. The evening will provide an
opportunity to work with us – take the plunge!
